Web Site Owner Information

My name is Michael W Cook and I live in London, England.

I was born in Hastings, East Sussex, and my family live near the site of the Battle of Hastings. Having grown up with such a wealth of historical sites locally, I soon gained an interest in History.

I studied Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology in London for 3 years and I have also studied history part-time at the University of London, although I have never worked in either of these fields.

I am a Cameraman and also a member of the Guild of Television Cameramen and have won several awards at home and Internationally for my work.. I now run my own company, Crusader Productions.

My hobbies are history, photography, mountaineering, skiing and country sports. I am an active member of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of Great Britain and I enjoy working my Jack Russell Terriers.

I have a very wide range and taste in music from Hendrix to Handel, as a child I used to sing in a church choir which toured many of the nations great cathedrals and churches, and this developed into a love for all music, especially choral.

I am also a long suffering supporter of Chelsea Football Club and for three years was an elected menber of the Independent Supporters Association.
